• Karen has over 40 years of working with dogs -  from training her dogs and teaching others how, as well as conducting professional classes since 1992.
• Karen has competed in various dog (and still does!) venues and has been professionally training and teaching classes for over 16 years. K9Kapers Dog Training has been in operation since 1994 starting in San Jose, CA.

K9Kapers Dog Training offers a variety of activities and classes as well as personal one on one consultations and private training.  We also offer ez-pay through Pay-Pal or using your credit card, as well as the ability to sign up for your class right here on the net. You can also pre-pay using cash or a check.

Discounts are available for 4H students, Shelter dogs and their owners, First Responders and Senior Citizens. Please contact us for these discounts.

Puppy Kapers ? kindergarten for puppies 10 to 20 weeks, fun & manners too!

K9 Basic Manners class I & II ? for dogs 4 months and up

K9 Citizen ? is a prep course for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Award, Includes test (optional)

K9 Shine II ? Intermediate & Advanced Obedience for graduates of any of the previous classes.

K9 Competition  ? is an Obedience competition prep class for attaining an AKC companion Dog ?CD? Title

K9 Agility Intro? A hands on class ? learning how to use and introduce the equipment, as well as fine tuning ground obedience and control thru body language.

Clicks, Tricks & Treats ? A fun and inviting class for you and your dog teaching fun and useful behaviors and clicker training.
